KIND-R:

Pakistan’s First

Neurological Center

Bringing Hope to Those Without Care

In Pakistan, millions of people are living with neurological conditions, but specialized care is often impossible to access. Stroke survivors are left without rehabilitation. Children with cerebral palsy struggle without therapy. Families watch their loved ones suffer because treatment isn’t available.

To address this, Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is building KIND-R.

The Karachi Institute of Neurological Diseases and Rehabilitation will be a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to treating neurological disorders and providing long-term rehabilitation. It will offer specialized care, social support, and life-changing therapy for those who have nowhere else to turn.

This is where you can make a difference. Every donation helps build this center, brick by brick, creating a future where thousands of Pakistanis can receive the care they deserve.

A Critical Need, A Life-Changing Solution

More than six percent of Pakistan’s population lives with a physical or neurological disability. That includes nearly two million children. Most of them never receive proper treatment.

Right now, there are almost no rehabilitation centers for neurological disorders. Without specialized care, recovery is out of reach. Families are left to manage on their own. Children with lifelong conditions struggle without the right therapy. Survivors of strokes, accidents, and illnesses are unable to regain mobility, simply because the services they need don’t exist.

KIND-R will provide:

  • Neurology and neurosurgery services
  • Pediatric and psychiatric care
  • Physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy
  • Orthotics and robotics labs for mobility support
  • Employment and social reintegration programs

For many, this will be the first time in their lives they have access to the treatment they need, and you can be the reason why.

A Commitment to A Lasting Impact

This is more than a building, it’s a long-term solution. HHRD has been delivering humanitarian aid for years, and now we’re ensuring that people with neurological conditions aren’t left behind.

KIND-R is being built in collaboration with a US-based health network, integrating the latest in neurological treatment and rehabilitation. The center will include nine outpatient departments, a fully equipped lab, radiology and sonology services, and a pharmacy.

The project is already underway, with completion expected in 2025. Every donation helps bring us closer to opening the doors.
